Amongst the daisies

Our Sunday lunchtime. An impromptu family picnic amongst the daisies in the beautiful Pavilion Gardens. Perfect.

Twenty one weeks in

This week we have:

- had some GLORIOUS weather.
- picnicked nearly every day.
- hung out with baby friends, at our music group, at the farm and in our garden.
- started saying 'Mama' (and knelt, and pulled herself up, and pointed, and met two more new teeth... too many things to keep up with!)
- been to our first wedding as a family.
- stayed with family and had a super lovely time in Buxton.

OverWorlds & UnderWorlds

This weekend we were lucky enough to witness / participate in / experience a spectacular event. OverWorlds & UnderWorlds was Yorkshire's contribution to 'Artists taking the lead', the UK Arts Councils' flagship project for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
There are no words to describe how breathtaking, emotional and phenomenal the whole experience was. I only hope that my photographs capture some of the magic of the day. Truly unforgettable.  

Twenty weeks in (the Instagram edition)

This week we have:

- started waving (to anyone and everything) and saying 'Hiya'! So unbelievably cute it melts my heart. Gah.
- been singing and dancing our little hearts out at our 'Little Voices' group.
-enjoyed some nice, fairly sunny, strolls.
- met up with pals.
-wished my Dad a happy 65th birthday (official pensioner!).
- had a curry for the first time (Little bean LOVED it, the same curry I had the night before I went into labour with her - paneer, spinach and mushroom korma -nom!)
- finally found ourselves in the possession of an iPhone and joined Instagram. I'm a little addicted. Follow me @littlemisslittlesleep !
