Thirty weeks in

This week we have:

- taken the little bean to her first theatre performance and her first gig. The gig, we kind of stumbled across at a community youth fair, and was an amazing little teenage band. The show, in keeping with family tradition, was the youth production of the Buxton Gilbert and Sullivan festival. The bean's big cousins were performing, as her Daddy, Aunty, Uncle and Granny have done in the past. She loved both. A lot. That girl has some serious rhythm, and loves nothing more than to sing and dance (just like her Mummy!).

- tried out some new baby led weaning culinary delights. Soup and spaghetti. The messy ones. She did well! Both went down a treat, and have added well needed variety to our meal plans.

- got a little more independent. Both of us. I spent some time at work while the bean spent some quality time with Daddy. Also, for the first time ever, the bean has started to turn the boob down, opting for water or food instead (apart from night times, obviously : ) ). A BIG step forward, in a good way, for both of us.

Pictures of the beans theatre trip, playing the piano with her big cousin and wolfing down some spag bol.
