Spring on film

There's something about springtime that makes me want to use film. I recently dug out my film camera to play around with on a trip to the farm, finishing off a film I'd started a year ago, pre-little bean. What a difference a year makes. Top two pictures, pre-bean, when afternoon snoozes in the park were an option!

Whilst the babe sleeps...

...sometimes we just like to sit back and capture the twilight. A bank holiday, a glass of wine, a sleeping babe, some beautiful light and our camera's.

Eighteen weeks in

This week we have:

- enjoyed the return of some sunshine
- found an amazing nursery
- started making and enjoying our treasure basket
- slept through for one full night!
- made new friends and had a ball at our first messy play group
- had a relaxed, cuddle-filled, smiley bank holiday weekend

Sunshine skies, the little bean exploring her treasure basket, sunsets from our living room window, Daddy cuddles and twilight skies reflected in a well-deserved bank holiday glass of vino.

Totally tropical

This week we took the little bean to our local tropical gardens (a favourite attraction of mine through childhood AND adulthood) for the first time. Sensory overload. Tropical plants, animals, insects, marine life, scents and temperatures entertained us and made for a very special family trip out. The little bean's favourites? The snakes and fruit bats. Good choice.
